This beautiful backyard already had dappled shade and birdsong. Our clients were a young family who wanted a place to hang out with friends, practice golf, and play with the kids. They wanted curved lines and cottage garden feel. We added a cedar deck off the primary suite, that transitions into a u shaped seating area with paver patio and a gas fire pit. The space then flows seamlessly into a secondary deck with a sunken hot tub. A new fence adds privacy. We maximized the lawn space, added hidden toy storage, and outdoor dining. A framework of evergreens adds structure, a wall of jasmine, an espaliered apple tree, climbing roses, perennial bulbs and flowers complete the design.
